Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant, youthful appearance.
Morpheus8 can be used on any area of the body that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, neck, eyes, abdomen, back and legs. Morpheus can also be used to treat Hyperhidrosis.
The number of treatments required vary based upon your current needs. Your provider will meet with you to discuss your concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan for you. Typically individuals will require 3-5 treatments to reach optimal results.
Visible results, such as skin tightening and appearance, may be seen within a few days, but typically after 3 weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements can continue to occur for up to 3 months. Typically clients will have a follow up appointment 3-4 weeks after each treatment to evaluate treatment results and receive their next treatment. Once you have achieved your desired results and your treatments are over it is recommended that you have annual treatments to maintain your results.
Radio frequency (RF) energy is a scientifically proven method to remodel and rebuild collagen. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of gold plated micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient down time. Traditional microneedling does not use RF energy and although beneficial, cannot provide the same results as a treatment with Morpheus8.
The benefits of Morpheus8’s colorblind technology is that is can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker types to be treated
Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments.Morpheus 8 can also be combined with other energy treatments or injectables to achieve more extensive results.
Patient downtime is minimal. You should expect to see micro lesions and redness for a few days after the treatment. It is recommended you wait 2-3 days before applying make up to allow the skin to rest and prevent infection.
Immediately after your treatment, your provider will apply a protective ointment to your skiin. Due to the nature of your treatment, you should avoid direct sun exposure for 3 days as your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight. During this time, you should wash your face with a moisturizing cleanser and apply an approved ointment to your skin twice daily. After 3 days, you should be able to use make up and should always include sunblock (SPF 45 or higher) in you skin care routine. Sunblock will help protect the investment you have put into your skin and minimize any future sun damage or effects of aging. Your provider can help identify products that would best meet your individual needs.
